Stat. tit. 19, § 19-377","heading":"IT staff and data processing technicians","body":"The board of county commissioners of any county may employ\n\ncompetent information technology (IT) staff and a data processing\n\ntechnician who shall perform the duties of IT management or data\n\nprocessing management as prescribed and directed by the board of\n\ncounty commissioners. The IT staff and data processing technician\n\nshall receive as compensation salaries to be fixed by the board of\n\ncounty commissioners for their services, to be paid out of the\n\ngeneral operating fund of the county.
