Stat. tit. 19, § 19-453","heading":"School guards - Qualifications and tenure - Salary","body":"The board of county commissioners may authorize employment of\n\nschool guards for the sole and only purpose of directing travel and\n\ntraffic on streets and highways outside the limits of incorporated\n\ncities and towns whenever the board deems it necessary to protect\n\nthe life and safety of pupils attending the public schools of this\n\nstate. School guards so employed shall meet the qualifications,\n\nperform such duties, and have such tenure as prescribed by the board\n\nof county commissioners.
