The board of county commissioners of each county is hereby\n\nauthorized to offer and pay a reward, from county funds, in an\n\namount not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) for the arrest\n\nand conviction, or for evidence leading to the arrest and conviction\n\nof any person stealing or defacing county road signs or any other\n\ncounty property.\n\nB. The board of county commissioners may create and maintain a\n\nreward fund of not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) from\n\nwhich to pay the rewards provided for in subsection A of this\n\nsection.\n\nC.
