Every appointment of an undersheriff or a deputy sheriff,\n\nand every revocation of such appointments, shall be in writing,\n\nunder the hand of the sheriff. The sheriff shall maintain a list of\n\nevery appointment and revocation of an undersheriff or deputy\n\nsheriff. The list shall be made available to the public upon\n\nrequest.\n\nB. This section shall not extend to any person who may be\n\ndeputized by any sheriff or undersheriff to do any particular act\n\nonly.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 1696. Amended by Laws 2005, c. 111, § 1, eff.
