Stat. tit. 19, § 19-623","heading":"General duties - Direct deposit system","body":"It shall be his duty to receive all monies belonging to the\n\ncounty from whatever source they may be derived, and other monies\n\nwhich by law are directed to be paid to him, and all monies received\n\nby him for the use of the county shall be paid by him only on the\n\nwarrants of the board of county commissioners, drawn according to\n\nlaw, and all other monies shall be paid over by him as provided by\n\nlaw. Counties may implement a direct deposit system to have\n\nwarrants transferred electronically to a financial institution. The\n\nState Auditor and Inspector shall promulgate rules as necessary for\n\nthe implementation and administration of a direct deposit system.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 1730.
