Stat. tit. 19, § 19-625","heading":"Other duties","body":"The treasurer shall be the collector of taxes, and shall keep\n\nhis office at the county seat. He shall be charged with the amount\n\nof all tax lists in his hands for collection, and credited with the\n\namount collected thereon, and the delinquent list, and shall keep a\n\nfair and accurate current account of the moneys by him received\n\nshowing the amount thereof, the time when, from whom, and on what\n\naccount received, in cash, warrants, county or road orders; and if\n\nin warrants or orders, their kind, number or other designation,\n\namounts for which they were drawn, interest due thereon, and the\n\namounts of the receipts thereon endorsed, if any; also of all\n\ndisbursements by him made, showing the time when, to whom, on what\n\naccount, and the amounts paid; and he shall so arrange his books\n\nthat the amounts received and paid on account of each separate and\n\ndistinct fund or appropriation shall be exhibited in separate and\n\ndistinct columns or accounts, and so as to show whether the same was\n\nreceived or paid in cash, or warrants or orders, and if either of\n\nthe latter, their designation and other particulars as above\n\nrequired; and the county treasurer shall at all times exhibit such\n\naccounts when desired, to the state, county or school officers\n\nentitled to examine the same and shall at any time pay over the\n\nbalance in his hands to them, upon receiving proper vouchers.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"90937b2dabc9d54f8e5f398a5af1cb620fe5f1c1f8d7c814e6f8379ebed57f6f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-624","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-626"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
