Stat. tit. 19, § 19-64","heading":"Commissioners may institute certain actions","body":"\n\nThe board of county commissioners of any of the counties\n\nreferred to in the preceding section shall have the right and power\n\nto prosecute any and all necessary actions against the county\n\ntreasurer of any such counties, or against any other officer,\n\nperson, firm or corporation for and on behalf of any school\n\ndistrict, road district, municipal township, city or town, and all\n\nsums of money that may be recovered by any such board of county\n\ncommissioners shall be forthwith paid over to the county treasurers\n\nof such counties for the use and benefit of the school district,\n\nroad district, municipal township, city or town, to which such money\n\nshall belong; and the board of county commissioners of any such\n\ncounties shall have the authority to make demand for any and all\n\nsums of money belonging to any such school district, road district,\n\nmunicipal township, city or town, of and from such officer, person,\n\nfirm or corporation, and exclusive original jurisdiction is hereby\n\nconferred upon the Supreme Court to hear and determine all actions\n\nauthorized by this article.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"77366668862051dbf39be279041a950ac83dc5de2739d60389691f0b5c4c62de","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-638","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-641"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
