Stat. tit. 19, § 19-643","heading":"Treasurer's receipts","body":"Whenever the treasurer receives any money, warrant or order on\n\naccount of licenses, fines or other account, except taxes charged on\n\nthe tax roll, he shall make out the proper duplicate receipts for\n\nthe same, and shall give one of said receipts to the person paying\n\nsaid money and the other to the county clerk within one (1) day\n\nthereafter in order that the treasurer may be charged with the\n\namount thereof.
