Stat. tit. 19, § 19-764","heading":"Assessment lists and rolls - Replacing - Deputy county","body":"assessors.\n\nThe board of county commissioners shall have power and\n\nauthority, where the assessment lists, assessment rolls, or\n\nabstracts thereof, or the tax lists, or tax rolls, or any part\n\nthereof, for any year or years have been lost or destroyed, as above\n\nset out, to cause another, or other, assessments of the taxable\n\nproperty in said county to be made for any such year or years, and\n\nin order to make such assessments and to make such assessment lists,\n\nrolls, or abstracts thereof, or tax lists, rolls, or abstracts\n\nthereof, the county commissioners may employ such number of deputy\n\ncounty assessors on the recommendation and nomination of the county\n\nassessor as in the judgment of the board of county commissioners\n\nwill be necessary to make the assessment of the taxable property of\n\nthe county and to prepare assessment lists, rolls, and abstracts\n\nthereof, and tax lists and tax rolls, in the shortest possible time\n\nthat will be to the best interest of the county.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ac070299ed698017c71578c9dfc80ed171fe35a413e5ea766a3bc16809e86c99","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-763","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-765"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
