Stat. tit. 19, § 19-782","heading":"Resolution of necessity - Petition - Notice of election","body":"Upon the adoption by the county commissioners of a resolution\n\ndeclaring the necessity therefor, or whenever twenty percent (20%)\n\nof the qualified voters of any county of this state, as determined\n\nby the last previous general election, shall petition the board of\n\ncounty commissioners of such county to call an election for the\n\npurpose of issuing bonds to purchase sites, erect and construct\n\ncounty hospitals, including alterations, additions to and\n\nenlargement of existing hospital buildings, it shall be the duty of\n\nsaid county commissioners to call an election and give notice\n\nthereof in two (2) daily or weekly newspapers of general circulation\n\npublished at the county seat of the county; provided, that if there\n\nbe one daily or weekly newspaper published in such county, in that\n\nevent one shall be sufficient, and such notices shall be published\n\nfor four (4) consecutive weeks. If there is no daily or weekly\n\nnewspaper published in such county, then printed notices shall be\n\nposted in one of the most public places in each voting precinct of\n\nthe county at least thirty (30) days prior to said election.
