Stat. tit. 19, § 19-863.36","heading":"Bonds","body":"Any person desiring an electrical license of any kind as above\n\nprovided, shall make and file with the State of Oklahoma Electrical\n\nAdministrative Board, or the city auditor of the affected city or\n\nwith the county clerk of the county as herein defined, a good and\n\nsufficient bond executed by a surety company authorized to transact\n\nbusiness in the State of Oklahoma and engaging himself thereon in\n\nthe amount set forth, to-wit:\n\na. Class A electrical contractor, the amount of the bond shall\n\nbe One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)\n\nb. Class B electrical contractor, the amount of the bond shall\n\nbe One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)\n\nc. Elevator construction, the amount of the bond shall be One\n\nThousand Dollars ($1,000.00)\n\nd. Armature shops, the amount of the bond shall be One Thousand\n\nDollars ($1,000.00)\n\ne. Electrical sign contractor, the amount of the bond shall be\n\nFive Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00)\n\nf. Electrical appliance repair, the amount of the bond shall be\n\nOne Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)\n\nSaid bond shall guarantee the performance on the part of the\n\nprincipal of all work in strict accord with the requirements of this\n\nact and the electrical code of the city as herein defined, the\n\npayment of fee or other charges due to either the city or county,\n\nthe replacing of all faulty or defective materials or workmanship\n\ninstalled by principal, or by some person for or on behalf of said\n\nprincipal, when notified to do so by the electrical inspector of\n\nsaid city or county and said bond shall be further conditioned that,\n\nin the event the principal does not perform and discharge all duties\n\nand obligations resting upon him, he shall be liable in the first\n\ninstance and suit may be brought directly upon said bond jointly\n\nand/or severally with said surety company by any person injured or\n\ndamaged as a result of such principal's failure to comply with the\n\nprovisions and requirements of the ordinance relating to such work.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ba0ac630999e1f6f07b96b2c63fde9387033c8425d24c90d4774c9da095ce734","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-863.35","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-863.37"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
