Stat. tit. 19, § 19-866.26","heading":"Construction codes","body":"Whenever a zoning plan has been adopted and filed by the council\n\nand board, the board, upon the recommendations of the commission, is\n\nhereby authorized and empowered to establish for the area over which\n\nit exercises zoning jurisdiction a building code and other\n\nconstruction codes including, but not limited to, a plumbing code,\n\nan electrical code and an air conditioning and refrigeration code.\n\nSuch building regulations and construction codes shall be\n\nadministered and enforced by the county inspecting officer appointed\n\nby the board.\n\nRegulations authorized by this section shall not be adopted,\n\nchanged, or amended by the board until a public hearing has been\n\nheld thereon by the commission.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"97eb422d9833788b9292d159414cf0d980cebffb465a9748130300269c8f978a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-866.25","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-866.27"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
