Stat. tit. 19, § 19-866.9","heading":"Submission of proposals and plans - Advice and","body":"cooperation of other agencies.\n\nTo facilitate effective and harmonious planning of the\n\nmetropolitan area, the boards and the councils concerned and other\n\ncounty, municipal and local governmental agencies concerned shall\n\nsubmit to the metropolitan planning commission all proposals for\n\nplans and amendments or revisions thereto, as well as other\n\nproposals, recommendations and reports on matters with which the\n\nplanning commission is concerned. In the pursuance of its duties,\n\nthe metropolitan planning commission may seek the advice,\n\ncooperation and collaboration of appropriate federal, state,\n\nmunicipal and other local governmental offices, departments,\n\nagencies, and instrumentalities, educational institutions and\n\nresearch organizations, whether public or private, and of civic\n\ngroups and private persons and organizations. The planning\n\ncommission also shall cooperate and confer with, and upon request\n\nsupply information to, federal, state, municipal and other local\n\ngovernmental agencies, and so far as possible cooperate with\n\nplanning agencies of adjoining areas, on matters of mutual interest\n\nrelevant to its activities. Whenever such cooperation or assistance\n\nincludes the rendering of technical services, such services may be\n\nrendered free or in accordance with an agreement for reimbursement.\n\nThe planning commission also shall advise and supply information, as\n\nfar as possible, to civic groups and private persons and\n\norganizations who may request such information and advise, and who\n\nstudy or otherwise concern themselves with the metropolitan area's\n\nproblems and development, insofar as such problems and development\n\nmay be relevant to the activities of the planning commission.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"44007f0fd2afef690c0bdab91cbd270d17369b8170c3654dace4234764309172","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-866.8","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-867.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
