Stat. tit. 19, § 19-868.16","heading":"Amendment of zoning regulations","body":"The regulations imposed and the districts created under\n\nauthority of this act may be amended from time to time by the board\n\nof county commissioners by order after the order establishing the\n\nsame has gone into effect, but no such amendment shall be made\n\nwithout a hearing before the county planning commission. In case of\n\nwritten protest against any proposed amendment, signed and\n\nacknowledged by the owners of twenty percent (20%) of the frontage\n\nwithin one thousand (1,000) feet to the right or left of the\n\nfrontage proposed to be changed, or by the owners of twenty percent\n\n(20%) of the frontage directly opposite, or directly in the rear of\n\nthe frontage proposed to be altered, or, in cases where the land\n\naffected lies within one and one-half (1 1/2) miles of the limits of\n\na municipality, by the governing body of the zoned municipality,\n\nfiled with the county planning commission, such amendment may not be\n\npassed except by the favorable vote of all members of the board of\n\ncounty commissioners.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"45769aa104ca0c2b6cbb344ba2dfe99313890367345c60aff20c9038d87df3b8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-868.15","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-868.17"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
