Stat. tit. 19, § 19-89","heading":"Compensation of election officials - How expenses borne","body":"All special election commissioners, selected and commissioned as\n\nprovided herein, shall receive as compensation for their services\n\nthe sum of Three Dollars ($3.00) per day for each and every day\n\nnecessarily employed in the work connected with the holding of such\n\nelection, including the time spent in going to and returning from\n\nsaid county, and the actual and necessary traveling expenses, and\n\nfor maintenance in the performance of such duties. Such\n\ncommissioner shall prepare and file with the Governor a sworn\n\nitemized statement of time employed and expenses incurred, which\n\nsaid statement shall be by the Governor forwarded to the county\n\nclerk of the county holding such election.
