Stat. tit. 19, § 19-901.30-7","heading":"Negotiated collective bargaining agreement - Required","body":"provisions - Disputes.\n\nAny agreement actually negotiated between the bargaining agent\n\nand the corporate authorities either before or within thirty (30)\n\ndays after arbitration shall constitute the collective bargaining\n\ncontract governing full-time firefighters in the Rural Fire\n\nProtection District for the period stated therein; provided that\n\nsuch period shall not exceed one (1) year. Any collective\n\nbargaining agreement negotiated under the terms and provisions of\n\nthis act shall specifically provide that the full-time firefighters\n\nin the Rural Fire Protection District who are subject to its terms\n\nshall have no right to engage in any work stoppage, slowdown or\n\nstrike, the consideration for such provision being the right to a\n\nresolution of disputed questions. All rules, regulations, fiscal\n\nprocedures, working conditions, district practices and manner of\n\nconducting the operation and administration of Rural Fire Protection\n\nDistricts currently in effect on the effective date of any\n\nnegotiated agreement shall be deemed a part of the agreement except\n\nas modified or changed by the specific terms of such agreement.\n\nEvery such agreement shall contain a clause establishing arbitration\n\nprocedures for the immediate and speedy resolution and determination\n\nof any dispute which may arise involving the interpretation or\n\napplication of any of the provisions of such agreement or the\n\nactions of any of the parties under that agreement. In the absence\n\nof such negotiated procedure, the dispute may be submitted to\n\narbitration in accordance with the provisions of this act, except\n\nthat the arbitration board shall be convened within ten (10) days\n\nafter demand therefor by the bargaining agent upon the corporate\n\nauthority or authorities.
