Stat. tit. 19, § 19-901.42","heading":"Hearing on proposed budget","body":"The board shall hold a public hearing on the proposed budget no\n\nlater than fifteen (15) days prior to the beginning of the budget\n\nyear. Notice of the date, time and place of the hearing, together\n\nwith the proposed budget summaries, shall be published in a\n\nnewspaper of general circulation in the district not less than five\n\n(5) days before the date of the hearing. Affidavit and proof of\n\npublication shall be attached to the budget when filed with the\n\ncounty clerk and State Auditor and Inspector. The district shall\n\nmake available a sufficient number of copies of the proposed budgets\n\nas the board shall determine and have them available for review or\n\nfor distribution or sale at the office of the district.
