Stat. tit. 19, § 19-904.7","heading":"Payment of claims","body":"\n\nNo claims shall be paid by the treasurer of the authority until\n\nthe same shall have been presented and allowed by the board of\n\ndirectors. All warrants shall be signed by the chairman of the\n\nboard of directors of the authority and countersigned by the clerk.\n\nIf the treasurer of the authority has not sufficient money on hand\n\nto pay the warrants when presented, he shall endorse thereon \"not\n\npaid for want of funds\" and endorse thereon the date presented, over\n\nhis signature, and from the time of the presentation until paid such\n\nwarrant shall draw interest at the rate not to exceed ten percent\n\n(10%) per annum. All claims against the authority shall be verified\n\nthe same as is required in the case of claims filed against the\n\ncounties in this state and the clerk of the authority is hereby\n\nauthorized and empowered to administer oaths to the parties\n\nverifying such claims the same as a county clerk or notary public\n\nmight do. The treasurer of the authority shall keep a register in\n\nwhich he shall enter each warrant presented for payment, showing the\n\ndate and amount of the warrant, to whom payable, the date of the\n\npresentation for payment, the date of payment, and the amount paid\n\nin redemption thereof, and all warrants shall be paid in the order\n\nof their presentation for payment to the treasurer of the authority.\n\nAll warrants shall be drawn and payable to the claimant or his\n\nassignee only.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4f0adad4c2639f62dcdd974a921ea58e09d696a52d1b60b8a80494d1995af9c1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-904.6","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-904.8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
