Stat. tit. 2, § 2-10-9.8a","heading":"New or expanded poultry feeding operations –","body":"Construction in certain areas prohibited.\n\nOn and after the effective date of this act:\n\n1. No new or expanding poultry feeding operations, operated by\n\nentities prohibited in Section 951 of Title 18 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes including but not limited to entities operating as\n\nprescribed by Section 954 of Title 18 of the Oklahoma Statutes,\n\nshall be constructed within a one-hundred-year flood plain; and\n\n2. No new or expanding poultry feeding operations, operated by\n\nentities prohibited in Section 951 of Title 18 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes including but not limited to entities operating as\n\nprescribed by Section 954 of Title 18 of the Oklahoma Statutes,\n\nshall be constructed within the following minimum buffer areas:\n\na. one and one-half (1 1/2) miles of the high water mark\n\nof a surface public water supply if the poultry\n\nfeeding operation is located within the watershed for\n\nthe public water supply,\n\nb. one (1) mile of any designated scenic river area as\n\nspecified by the Scenic Rivers Act,\n\nc. one (1) mile of a public drinking water well, and\n\nd. one (1) mile of a water body specified as outstanding\n\nresource waters that has recreational or ecological\n\nsignificance as outlined by the most current Oklahoma\n\nWater Quality Standards promulgated by the Oklahoma\n\nDepartment of Environmental Quality.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"71c4b07c662d28e95a1fe44625f90ec32adb3256f1c9c84a1ab8c74022849f85","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-10-9.8","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-10-9.9"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
