Stat. tit. 2, § 2-11-11","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. \"Extraordinary costs\" means costs incurred by an\n\nincorporated municipality's unregulated utility related to the\n\nextreme weather that occurred beginning February 7, 2021, and ending\n\nFebruary 21, 2021, including but not limited to fuel-related storage\n\nand associated costs, emergency compressed or liquified natural gas\n\nsupplies, contracts for services providing additional pressurization\n\non lines and transportation pipeline penalties. Extraordinary costs\n\nshall not include extreme purchase costs, as defined in this\n\nsection;\n\n2. \"Extreme purchase costs\" means expenses incurred for the\n\npurchase of fuel, purchased power, natural gas commodity, or any\n\ncombination thereof, whether at spot pricing, index pricing, or\n\notherwise with delivery beginning February 7, 2021, and ending\n\nFebruary 21, 2021;\n\n3. \"Utility\" shall mean any person or entity doing business in\n\nthis state that furnishes natural gas or electric current to its\n\ncustomers located at an address within this state and within the\n\nservice area of the utility; and\n\n4. \"Unregulated utility\" shall mean any utility, as defined in\n\nthis section, which is not subject to the regulatory jurisdiction of\n\nthe Corporation Commission with respect to its rates, charges, and\n\nterms and conditions of service.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"691ff6b46ecade7681981a0b299c3d019aa14048da5c95a05c70e3ad2b25d2cf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-11-10","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-11-12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
