Stat. tit. 2, § 2-14-65","heading":"Service technicians and service agencies - Powers, duties","body":"and responsibilities.\n\nLicensed service technicians and service agencies shall:\n\n1. Submit a placing in service report to the State Board of\n\nAgriculture within five (5) calendar days after service is provided\n\nwhen required by the Board;\n\n2. Have the authority to remove an official rejection tag after\n\nthe device has been repaired, tested, and found to meet\n\nrequirements. The rejection tag and the service technician/service\n\nagency test report shall accompany the placing-in-service report\n\nsubmitted to the Board;\n\n3. Attach a seal approved by the Board identifying the service\n\nagency, signed and dated by the service technician, stating that the\n\ncommercial device has been tested in accordance with the provisions\n\nin Handbook 44 and is suitable for use as a commercial device;\n\n4. Have available and use sufficient standards and equipment to\n\nadequately test weights and measures as set forth in the notes\n\nsection of each applicable code in Handbook 44, “Specifications,\n\nTolerances and Other Technical Requirements for Weighing and\n\nMeasuring Devices”, and have the handbook in their possession. The\n\nequipment shall meet the specifications corresponding to the series\n\nof NIST Handbook 105, “Specifications and Tolerances for Reference\n\nStandards and Field Standard Weights and Measures”, supplements and\n\nrevisions;\n\n5. Submit to the Board, as required by the Board of Control of\n\nthe State Bureau of Standards, for examination and certification,\n\nany standards and testing equipment that are used or are to be used\n\nin the performance of the service and testing functions. A licensed\n\nservice technician or service agency shall not use any weight or\n\nmeasure standard or testing equipment that has not been approved by\n\nthe Board; and\n\n6.
