It shall be the mandatory duty of the board of county\n\ncommissioners of any counties to include in the estimates of needs\n\nfor any such counties for each fiscal year, whether an exposition\n\nand fair is held in such year or not:\n\n1. Unless a lesser sum is requested by the board of directors;\n\nand\n\n2. A sum not less than Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) in\n\ncounties having a net assessed valuation, as provided in Section 1,\n\nChapter 6, Title 19, Oklahoma Session Laws 1943, at the time the\n\nappropriation is made of not less than Thirty-five Million Dollars\n\n($35,000,000.00) and not more than Forty Million Dollars\n\n($40,000,000.00); or a sum of not less than Ten Thousand Dollars\n\n($10,000.00) in counties having such a net assessed valuation at the\n\ntime the appropriation is made of more than Forty Million Dollars\n\n($40,000,000.00) but not more than Forty-five Million Dollars\n\n($45,000,000.00); or a sum not less than Twelve Thousand Dollars\n\n($12,000.00) in counties having such a net assessed valuation at the\n\ntime the appropriation is made of more than Forty-five Million\n\nDollars ($45,000,000.00).\n\nB. The money shall be used by the board of directors for:\n\n1. The payment of premiums, salaries, and other expenses\n\nincurred in the management, operation and conducting of a exposition\n\nand fair, including the salary of the secretary-treasurer and office\n\nemployees, and secretary's bond premium;\n\n2. The maintenance of buildings and the upkeep of grounds, the\n\nconstruction of new buildings, or either of such purposes; and\n\n3. Any other expense incidental to the general purposes of this\n\nsubsection.\n\nC. The amount appropriated shall be a part of the current\n\nexpenses of the county, and it is hereby made the mandatory duty of\n\nthe excise board of the county establishing an exposition and fair\n\nto approve the amount so estimated for the purposes by the board of\n\ncounty commissioners.\n\nD. The miscellaneous income received by the board of directors\n\nduring any year shall not be taken into consideration as a part of\n\nthe estimated income used in financing the estimated needs of the\n\ncounty.
