Stat. tit. 2, § 2-15-24","heading":"Estimate and apportionment of cost - Certification of","body":"estimate to county excise boards - Items of expenditures.\n\nA. The executive board shall:\n\n1. Make an estimate of the cost of the free district fair;\n\n2. Apportion to each of the counties comprising the association\n\nthe portion to be borne by each member county together with the plan\n\nand items of expenditures; and\n\n3. Certify the estimate to the county excise board in each of\n\nthe member counties in time to be acted on by the county excise\n\nboard at its annual meeting for making tax levies.\n\nB. The items to be considered in the expenditure of funds shall\n\nbe for:\n\n1. Premiums on livestock, poultry, fruit, agriculture,\n\nhorticultural and dairy products; boys' and girls' club work, school\n\nexhibits, culinary products, textile products, needlework and\n\nsewing, hand painting, decorating and drawing, and cultivated plants\n\nand flowers;\n\n2. The necessary expenses of management of free district fairs\n\norganized under the provisions of this article, including office\n\nexpense, postage, telephone, digital and electronic communication,\n\nInternet and supporting equipment, traveling expenses of secretary\n\nwithin the district in which the fair is held, printing (except\n\npremium lists) and necessary office supplies, premium ribbons and\n\nbadges, clerical help, guards, superintendents and judges; and\n\n3.
