Stat. tit. 2, § 2-15-59","heading":"Tax levy - Amount - Purpose","body":"For the purpose of defraying the expense of holding county and\n\ntownship fairs, the excise board of each county may make an annual\n\nlevy upon all taxable property in the county, of not exceeding one-\n\nhalf (1/2) of one (1) mill, per annum, which is hereby declared not\n\nto be a current expense and in addition to the maximum levy for\n\ncurrent expenses now provided by law. The levy shall be for a\n\nspecial purpose.
