It is unlawful for any person to carelessly or willfully\n\nburn or cause to be burned or to set fire to or cause any fire to be\n\nset to any forest, grass, crops, rangeland, or other wild lands not\n\nowned by, duly authorized by the owner or manager, or in the lawful\n\npossession of, the person setting the fire or burning the lands or\n\ncausing the fire to be burned.\n\nB. Any person who carelessly violates this section is guilty of\n\na misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred\n\nDollars ($500.00), by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year,\n\nor both. Any person who willfully violates this section is guilty\n\nof a Class D1 felony offense punishable by a fine of not more than\n\nFive Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), by imprisonment as provided for\n\nin subsections B through F of Section 20N of Title 21 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, or by both.\n\nC.
