Any person possessing any incendiary device as defined by\n\nsubsection B of this section with the intent to use the device for\n\nthe purpose of burning or setting fire to any forest, grass, crops,\n\nor woodlands that the person possessing that device is not the owner\n\nof nor in possession of lawfully, as under a lease, shall be guilty\n\nof a Class D1 felony offense punishable by a fine of not more than\n\nOne Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), as provided for in subsections B\n\nthrough F of Section 20N of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or by\n\nboth.\n\nB. The term “incendiary device” as used in this section\n\nincludes, but is not limited to, any “slow match” which is any\n\ndevice contrived to accomplish the delayed ignition of a match or\n\nmatches or other flammable material by the use of a cigarette, rope,\n\nor candle to which the match or matches are attached, or a\n\nmagnifying glass focused to intensify heat on flammable material and\n\ncause a fire to start at a subsequent time, or any chemicals,\n\nchemically treated paper or material, or other combustible material\n\narranged or designed to make possible its use as a delayed firing\n\ndevice.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"cffe19515285feb42cddac883850c63356d72edd696f635d1e079e196e5a4d57","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-16-33","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-16-35"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
