Stat. tit. 2, § 2-16-36","heading":"When compact operative - Exchange of official documents","body":"When the Governor executes the compact on behalf of this state\n\nand causes a verified copy of the compact to be filed with the\n\nSecretary of State, and when the compact has been ratified by one or\n\nmore of the states named in Section 16-35 of this title, then the\n\ncompact shall become operative and effective as between this state\n\nand any other state or states.
