Stat. tit. 2, § 2-16-59","heading":"Removal of pine timber or products from state lands","body":"No timber or other timber products shall be removed from any\n\nlands owned by the State of Oklahoma, except for public utilities\n\nand improvements, and no officer, employee, or any other person\n\nemployed by the State of Oklahoma shall authorize the removal,\n\nexcept upon written approval of the Director of Forestry. In\n\ncarrying out the duties of this section, the Director is authorized\n\nto delegate authority to persons qualified to act in the Director’s\n\nbehalf.\n\nAny person violating this section shall be guilty of a Class D3\n\nfelony offense and upon conviction shall be punished, for the first\n\noffense, by a fine not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00),\n\nor by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of\n\nSection 20P of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or by both.
