Except as provided by subsection B of this section, any\n\nowner or operator of a logging or timber harvesting operation shall\n\nmaintain at all times during the operation, for inspection purposes\n\nby law enforcement personnel, a written bill of sale, timber deed or\n\ntimber contract, recording memorandum, or written consent of the\n\ntimber owner for the timber being harvested.\n\nB. The provisions of subsection A of this section shall not\n\napply to any owner or operator of a logging or timber harvesting\n\noperation if a timber deed, written bill of sale or timber contract\n\nor written consent, recording or memorandum is recorded in the\n\nrecords of the county clerk of the county in which the timber is\n\nharvested or to be harvested.\n\nC. Any deed, written bill of sale, contract, or written consent\n\nfor logging or timber harvesting operation pursuant to this section\n\nshall include:\n\n1. A description of the timber to be removed;\n\n2. The date of execution and expiration of the contract or\n\nconsent, bill of sale, or deed;\n\n3. The name and address of the timber owner and the timber\n\npurchaser; and\n\n4. The legal description of the real property where the timber\n\nis harvested.\n\nD.
