It shall be the duty of all forest rangers to distribute in\n\nall of the public schools and high schools of the county in which\n\nthey are serving all the books, periodicals, and other literature\n\nthat may, from time to time, be sent out to the rangers by the state\n\nand federal forestry agencies dealing with forest conservation,\n\ndevelopment, protection, and management.\n\nB. It shall be the duty of the various rangers under the\n\ndirection of the Director, and the duty of the teachers of the\n\nvarious schools, both public schools and high schools, to post at\n\nsome conspicuous place in the various classrooms of the school\n\nbuildings the appropriate bulletins and posters as may be sent out\n\nfrom the forestry agencies for that purpose; and the teachers and\n\nrangers may prepare lectures or talks to be made to the pupils of\n\nthe various schools on the subject of forest fires, their origin and\n\ntheir destructive effect on the plant life and tree life of the\n\nforests of the state, the development and scientific management of\n\nthe forests of the state, and may be prepared to give practical\n\ninstruction to their pupils as often as they may find it possible to\n\ndo so.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e5396801a36c9d2a7c134bca435cfaeae214a16f69946c7a77424fa695f7d27d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-16-66","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-16-68"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
