Stat. tit. 2, § 2-16-83","heading":"Rural Fire Equipment Grant Revolving Fund","body":"There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving fund\n\nfor the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry to be\n\ndesignated the \"Rural Fire Equipment Grant Revolving Fund\". The\n\nfund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to fiscal year\n\nlimitations, and shall consist of all monies received by the\n\nOklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry and\n\ndesignated for deposit thereto. All monies accruing to the credit\n\nof said fund are hereby appropriated and may be budgeted and\n\nexpended by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and\n\nForestry for the purpose of purchasing and repairing equipment used\n\nby rural fire departments for firefighting efforts. The Oklahoma\n\nDepartment of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry shall work with the\n\nRural Fire Coordinators to establish suitable criteria for\n\napplication and approval of grants awarded to rural fire departments\n\nfrom said fund. Priority of grants awarded from said fund shall be\n\ngiven to rural fire departments which suffered damaged equipment\n\nfrom wildfire suppression efforts related to drought-related fires\n\nand fire control. The activities associated with the duties of said\n\nfund shall be known as the \"Rural Fire Equipment Grant Program\".\n\nExpenditures from said fund shall be made upon warrants issued by\n\nthe State Treasurer against claims filed as prescribed by law with\n\nthe Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services for\n\napproval and payment.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"eed346394640530b0d8029cdd7a2d2fd74f5bfb6d0dc6ae2926ae7b80f6d98fd","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-16-82","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-16-9"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
