The Oklahoma Sheep and Wool Producers, Incorporated, shall\n\ncall the original election of members to the Sheep and Wool\n\nUtilization, Research and Market Development Commission. All\n\nsubsequent elections shall be called by the Oklahoma Sheep and Wool\n\nUtilization, Research and Market Development Commission. All\n\nproducers who have paid a fee during the current year, as provided\n\nin the Sheep and Wool Producers Act, shall be eligible to vote in\n\nthe election of members of the Commission, if no part of the fee has\n\nbeen returned to the producer by the Commission. All sheep and wool\n\nproducers in the state, as defined by the Sheep and Wool Producers\n\nAct, shall be eligible to vote in the election of the initial\n\nmembers of the Commission. The election of subsequent at large\n\nCommission members shall be by mail as provided in subsection E of\n\nthis section.\n\nB. Within thirty (30) days after the establishment of the\n\nOklahoma Sheep and Wool Utilization, Research and Market Development\n\nCommission, the Oklahoma Sheep and Wool Producers, Incorporated,\n\nshall call meetings of the sheep and wool producers in each of the\n\ndistricts established in Section 18-183 of this title, for the\n\npurpose of electing members of the Oklahoma Sheep and Wool\n\nUtilization, Research and Market Development Commission. A producer\n\nshall be entitled to vote for candidates for the Commission to\n\nrepresent his or her respective district, the state at large and a\n\nmajor purebred breed. It shall be the responsibility of the\n\nproducer to prove eligibility to vote.\n\nC. Members of the Commission shall be elected as follows:\n\n1. The members representing Districts I, IV and the state at\n\nlarge for terms ending June 30, 1974;\n\n2. The members representing Districts II and III for terms\n\nending June 30, 1975; and\n\n3. The two members representing the major purebred breeds for\n\nterms ending June 30, 1976.\n\nAs the terms of office of such members expire, their successors\n\nshall be elected for terms of three (3) years as provided in this\n\nsection.\n\nD. Each member shall hold office until the successor is elected\n\nand has qualified. A member elected to fill a vacancy occurring\n\nbefore the expiration of a term of a member separated from the\n\nCommission for any cause shall be elected for the remainder of the\n\nterm of the member whose office has been so vacated.\n\nE. 1. Ballots shall be published at the request of the\n\nCommission in any market news service made available to Oklahoma\n\nsheep and wool producers. Nominations for election to the\n\nCommission for the three at large members shall be published in the\n\nmarket news service in April of each year that a term of office for\n\na Commissioner expires or is vacated with a deadline for selecting\n\nthree of those nominated for the final runoff election. The names\n\nof the three persons receiving the greatest number of votes shall be\n\npublished in the market news service which is published in May.\n\nBallots for voting for the Commission member shall be published in\n\nthe market news service in June with a July 1st deadline for mailing\n\nthe ballots.\n\n2. The ballots shall be counted by the president of the State\n\nBoard of Agriculture or designee selected from the Oklahoma sheep\n\nand wool producers industry and the chairman of the Commission or\n\ndesignee selected from the Commission. The Commission shall\n\npromulgate rules for determining the outcome of a tie vote in the\n\nelection.\n\n3.
