Stat. tit. 2, § 2-18-187","heading":"Powers of Commission","body":"The Sheep and Wool Utilization, Research and Market Development\n\nCommission shall have the power to:\n\n1. Make such reasonable expenditures of funds as is necessary\n\nto carry out the provisions of the Oklahoma Sheep and Wool Producers\n\nAct;\n\n2. Devise, adopt and conduct a program of education and\n\npublicity;\n\n3. Cooperate with local, state or national organizations,\n\nwhether public or private, in carrying out the purposes of the\n\nOklahoma Sheep and Wool Producers Act, and to enter into such\n\ncontracts as may be necessary. No Commission funds shall be used,\n\ndirectly or indirectly, or as a result of contract or agreement with\n\nother persons or organizations, in supporting or opposing political\n\ncandidates, political officeholders, and legislation, either state\n\nor national;\n\n4. Promulgate such rules as are necessary to promptly and\n\neffectively administer the provisions of the Oklahoma Sheep and Wool\n\nProducers Act;\n\n5. Conduct, in addition to the things enumerated, any other\n\nprogram for the utilization, research and market development of\n\nsheep and wool produced in the State of Oklahoma;\n\n6. Call and conduct such meetings and elections as may be\n\nnecessary in carrying out the provisions of the Oklahoma Sheep and\n\nWool Producers Act; and\n\n7.
