Stat. tit. 2, § 2-18-241","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Sorghum Resources Act:\n\n1. \"Commercial channels\" means the sale of sorghum for any use,\n\nwhen sold to any commercial buyer, dealer, processor, cooperative,\n\nor to any person, public or private, who resells any sorghum or\n\nproduct produced from sorghum;\n\n2. \"Commercial quantities\" means and includes all bushels of\n\nsorghum produced for market in any calendar year by any producer;\n\n3. \"Commission\" means the Oklahoma Sorghum Commission;\n\n4. \"Department\" means the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture,\n\nFood, and Forestry;\n\n5. \"First purchaser\" means any person buying or acquiring after\n\nharvest the property in or to sorghum from a sorghum producer. A\n\nmortgagee, pledgee, lienholder, or other person having a claim\n\nagainst the sorghum producer under a nonrecourse loan made against\n\nthe sorghum after harvest shall be a purchaser. The term \"first\n\npurchaser\" shall not include a harvesting or threshing lienee;\n\n6. \"President\" means the President of the State Board of\n\nAgriculture; and\n\n7. \"Sorghum producer\" or \"producer\" means an individual engaged\n\nin the production of sorghum, who markets sorghum in commercial\n\nquantities in Oklahoma.
