Stat. tit. 2, § 2-18-271","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Oilseed Resources Act:\n\n1. \"Commercial channels\" means the sale of oilseed for any use,\n\nwhen sold to any commercial buyer, dealer, processor, cooperative,\n\nor to any person, public or private, who resells any oilseed or\n\nproduct produced from oilseed;\n\n2. \"Commercial quantities\" means and includes all\n\nhundredweights (CWT) of oilseed produced for market in any calendar\n\nyear by any producer;\n\n3. \"Commission\" means the Oklahoma Oilseed Commission;\n\n4. \"Department\" means the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture,\n\nFood, and Forestry;\n\n5. \"First purchaser\" means any person buying or acquiring after\n\nharvest the property in or to oilseed from an oilseed producer. A\n\nmortgagee, pledgee, lienholder, or other person having a claim\n\nagainst the oilseed producer under a nonrecourse loan made against\n\nthe oilseed after harvest shall be a purchaser. The term \"first\n\npurchaser\" shall not include a harvesting or threshing lienee;\n\n6. \"President\" means the President of the State Board of\n\nAgriculture;\n\n7. \"Oilseed\" means any seed or crop grown primarily or mainly\n\nfor oil; and\n\n8. \"Oilseed producer\" or \"producer\" means an individual engaged\n\nin the production of oilseed, who markets oilseed in commercial\n\nquantities in Oklahoma.
