The Department of Agriculture State Indemnity Special Fund\n\nis hereby created in the State Treasury for the Oklahoma Department\n\nof Agriculture, Food, and Forestry.\n\nB. The fund shall consist of any monies appropriated to the\n\nDepartment specifically for transfer to the fund. The fund shall be\n\na continuing fund, not subject to fiscal year limitations, and shall\n\nbe under the control and management of the administrative authority\n\nof the Department.\n\nC. Expenditures from the fund shall be pursuant to the laws of\n\nthis state and in accordance with rules promulgated by the State\n\nBoard of Agriculture.\n\nD. The fund shall be for the purpose of funding state indemnity\n\npayments to owners of livestock destroyed or disposed of pursuant to\n\nSection 6-3 of this title and to support livestock disease\n\nprevention and control programs within the designated division of\n\nthe Department.\n\nE. All expenditures shall be approved by the State Veterinarian\n\nand presented to the Board.
