All irrigation systems into which any swine waste will be\n\ninjected shall be equipped with one or both of the following\n\nsystems:\n\n1. An antipollution system, approved by the State Board of\n\nAgriculture, capable of preventing the backflow of swine waste into\n\nthe groundwater. The system shall include a safety check valve with\n\na removable inspection port, anti-syphon vent, and low-pressure\n\nescape drain. An interlock device shall be installed on pumps that\n\npump the swine waste so that if a fresh water irrigation pump shuts\n\ndown, the pump that pumps the swine waste will also immediately shut\n\ndown, preventing the chance of leakage past the check valve; or\n\n2. A system which provides for a complete and total\n\ndisconnection between the flow of fresh water and the flow of swine\n\nwaste. The system shall be capable of a manual disconnection\n\nbetween fresh water and the swine waste.\n\nB. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry\n\nshall make annual on-site inspections examining the operative status\n\nof the check valves and interlock devices.\n\nC. The operator of the irrigation system shall be responsible\n\nto ensure:\n\n1. That the valves and interlock devices remain operative\n\nbetween annual inspections by the Department; or\n\n2.
