The State Board of Agriculture or its authorized agents are\n\nempowered to enter upon the premises of any animal feeding operation\n\nfor the purpose of investigating complaints as to the operation or\n\nto determine whether there are any violations of the Oklahoma\n\nConcentrated Animal Feeding Operations Act. The Department shall\n\nmake at least one unannounced inspection per year of every animal\n\nfeeding operation licensed pursuant to the Oklahoma Concentrated\n\nAnimal Feeding Operations Act.\n\nB. 1. The Board shall promulgate standard precautions for the\n\nprevention of the transmission of communicable diseases to humans\n\nand animals to be used by employees of the Department of\n\nAgriculture, Food, and Forestry when inspecting animal feeding\n\noperations pursuant to their official duties specified by the\n\nOklahoma Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations Act and rules\n\npromulgated pursuant thereto.\n\n2. Except for emergency situations or when enforcement of the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations\n\nAct requires the use of the standard precautions as promulgated by\n\nthe Board pursuant to paragraph 1 of this subsection, Department\n\nemployees shall observe the health standards and sanitary\n\nrequirements of the facility.\n\nC.
