An applicator's license shall be issued only after\n\nsatisfactory completion of the certification standards by the person\n\nwho shall be the certified applicator under the license. Temporary\n\ncertified applicators do not qualify as the certified applicator for\n\na license, nor may they act as a certified applicator. The Board\n\nshall deny the application for certification, recertification,\n\nissuance, or renewal of a certificate or license for a failure to\n\nshow proper qualification under the rules or for violations of any\n\nprovisions of this section. A certificate in any category shall be\n\nvalid for five (5) years unless suspended, canceled, or revoked by\n\nthe Board or until recertification is required for the category, and\n\nmay be renewed after successful completion of recertification\n\nrequirements. The Board may require certified applicators to be\n\nrecertified once in a five-year period.\n\nB. A certified service technician identification shall be\n\nissued upon application and completion of certification standards\n\ndetermined by the Board. Temporary certified applicators may\n\nqualify as a certified service technician. No person shall act, do\n\nbusiness as, or advertise as a service technician unless the person\n\nhas met all the qualifications and standards as required by the\n\nBoard. The service technicians' identification shall be issued in\n\nthe name of the licensed entity. The licensee shall ensure that the\n\nservice technician identification is returned to the Board upon\n\ntermination of the employee. A service technician identification\n\nshall be valid for a period of five (5) years unless suspended,\n\ncanceled, or revoked by the Board, until recertification is required\n\nby the Board, or until the service technician leaves the employ of\n\nthe licensed entity. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food,\n\nand Forestry may issue a service technician identification upon\n\ncompletion of the following:\n\n1. A determination is made by the Department that the applicant\n\nhas successfully completed the written examination;\n\n2. The licensed entity provides a completed service technician\n\nidentification application form at the time of testing; and\n\n3. All appropriate fees are paid at the time of testing.\n\nC. Each license, except for private applicators, shall expire\n\non dates established by the Department in administrative rules and\n\nmay be renewed for the ensuing calendar year, without penalty or\n\nreexamination, if a properly completed application is filed with the\n\nBoard on a date established by the Department. If the application\n\nis not received by the due date, a penalty of twice the amount of\n\nthe renewal fee shall be charged for renewal of the license. If the\n\napplication is not received within thirty (30) days following the\n\ndue date, an additional one-hundred-dollar penalty shall be paid\n\nprior to license renewal.
