Stat. tit. 2, § 2-4-2","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purposes of this article:\n\n1. \"Animal\" or \"livestock\" means any cattle, horse, or mule;\n\n2. \"Brand\" means a permanent identification mark of which the\n\nletters, numbers, and figures used are each three (3) inches or more\n\nin length or diameter and are impressed into the hide of a live\n\nanimal either with a hot iron or by the process commonly referred to\n\nas \"cold\" or \"freeze\" branding, and includes the location on the\n\nanimal.
