Stat. tit. 2, § 2-5-15","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Agritourism Activities Liability\n\nLimitations Act:\n\n1. \"Agritourism activity\" means any activity carried out on a\n\nfarm or ranch that allows members of the general public, for\n\nrecreational, entertainment, or educational purposes, to view or\n\nenjoy rural activities, including farming, ranching, historic,\n\ncultural, harvest-your-own activities, or natural activities and\n\nattractions. An activity is an agritourism activity whether or not\n\nthe participant paid to participate in the activity;\n\n2. \"Agritourism professional\" means any person who is engaged\n\nin the business of providing one or more agritourism activities,\n\nwhether or not for compensation and whose agritourism activity is\n\nregistered with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and\n\nForestry;\n\n3. \"Inherent risks of agritourism activity\" means those dangers\n\nor conditions that are an integral part of an agritourism activity\n\nincluding certain hazards, surface and subsurface conditions,\n\nnatural conditions of land, vegetation, and waters, the behavior of\n\nwild or domestic animals, and ordinary dangers of structures or\n\nequipment ordinarily used in farming and ranching operations.\n\nInherent risks of agritourism activity also include the potential of\n\na participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to\n\ninjury to the participant or others, including failing to follow\n\ninstructions given by the agritourism professional or failing to\n\nexercise reasonable caution while engaging in the agritourism\n\nactivity; and\n\n4. \"Participant\" means any person, other than the agritourism\n\nprofessional, who engages in an agritourism activity.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"129d9aa0f7ff6f7bcb2f284b3cf66e9b90dd414e9c8ea2bb309bc17495c460bf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-14","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-16"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
