Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the rights\n\nof Oklahomans to engage in agritourism activities shall not be\n\nbanned by any county, municipality, state agency or political\n\nsubdivision. Agritourism activities shall only be engaged in a\n\nlawful manner pursuant to the Oklahoma Horse Racing Act and in\n\ncompliance with health and safety zoning requirements, as well as\n\nhealth and safety regulations, by the state and local governments.\n\nB. \"Agritourism activities\" as used in this section means\n\nutilizing livestock or poultry for entertainment or educational\n\npurposes. This shall include horseback riding, horse-drawn carriage\n\nrides, livestock and poultry shows, petting farms, rodeos,\n\nactivities that historically involved the utilization of working\n\nanimals and other substantially similar activities.\n\nC. \"Agritourism activities\" as used in this section shall not\n\ninclude cockfighting, as defined in Section 1692.1 of Title 21 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes or fighting dogs, as defined in Section 1693\n\nof Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"caafd31230743230c0582d8462a97607a0b20854cec9c92e05ebf8ea99d1b3ca","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-17","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-18"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
