Stat. tit. 2, § 2-5-203","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Healthy Food Financing Act:\n\n1. \"Board\" means the State Board of Agriculture;\n\n2. \"Department\" means the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture,\n\nFood, and Forestry;\n\n3. \"Financing\" means loans, grants and forgivable loans;\n\n4. \"Grocery store\" means a for-profit or not-for-profit self-\n\nservice retail establishment that primarily sells meat, seafood,\n\nfruits, vegetables, dairy products, dry groceries, household\n\nproducts and sundries;\n\n5. \"Low-income community\" means a census tract, as reported in\n\nthe most recent decennial census published by the United States\n\nBureau of the Census, that has a poverty rate of at least twenty\n\npercent (20%) or in which the median family income does not exceed\n\neighty percent (80%) of the greater of the statewide or metropolitan\n\nmedian family income;\n\n6. \"Moderate income community\" means a census tract, as\n\nreported in the most recent decennial census published by the United\n\nStates Bureau of the Census, in which the median family income is\n\nbetween eighty-one percent (81%) and ninety-five percent (95%) of\n\nthe statewide or metropolitan median family income;\n\n7. \"Small food retailer\" means a small retail outlet less than\n\ntwo thousand five hundred (2,500) square feet, which sells a limited\n\nselection of foods and other products; and\n\n8. \"Underserved community\" means a census tract, as reported in\n\nthe most recent decennial census published by the United States\n\nBureau of the Census, determined to be an area with low supermarket\n\naccess by either the United States Department of Agriculture, as\n\nidentified in the Food Access Research Atlas, or through a\n\nmethodology that has been adopted for use by another governmental\n\nhealthy food initiative.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"32116100536d51907299c6fe502b36b2fdd572e8dcf0525a8a6f93da527c982a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-201","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
