A manager or an advisory board member may register a farmers\n\nmarket with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and\n\nForestry if the farmers market meets the eligibility requirements\n\nidentified in the Oklahoma Farmers Market and Farmers Hub Act.\n\nB. A manager or an advisory board member of a registered\n\nfarmers market shall ensure the following are met for the farmers\n\nmarket:\n\n1. A complete registration application is submitted to the\n\nOklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry containing\n\nthe following information:\n\na. location of the farmers market,\n\nb. name and contact information of the manager or\n\nadvisory board members for the farmers market,\n\nc. letters of intent to sell at the farmers market from a\n\nminimum of four independent vendors of raw food\n\nproducts,\n\nd. proposed annual calendar including months, days and\n\nhours of operation,\n\ne. defined geographic region of eligible vendors,\n\nf. written acknowledgement of the Oklahoma State\n\nDepartment of Health rules found at Title 310,\n\nChapters 257 and 260 of the Oklahoma Administrative\n\nCode,\n\ng. a list of types of benefits accepted as payment\n\nincluding, but not limited to, Supplemental Nutrition\n\nAssistance Program (SNAP), Women and Infant Children\n\n(WIC) and tribal aid programs,\n\nh. intended methods for promotion of the farmers market\n\nincluding websites, social media and other\n\nadvertising,\n\ni. a copy of the farmers market guidelines or bylaws, if\n\napplicable, and\n\nj. any other information required by rules promulgated\n\npursuant to the Oklahoma Farmers Market and Farmers\n\nHub Act;\n\n2. Open for business at least one (1) day a week and at least\n\nfour (4) months of the year;\n\n3. Open to the general public for purchase of products;\n\n4. Sales are only direct to purchasers from the farm food\n\nproducer or value-added processor;\n\n5. The grower, producer or employees of the grower or producer\n\nare knowledgeable of the products offered for sale and are present\n\nto answer questions to the purchaser;\n\n6. Compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding\n\nretail sales including, but not limited to, tax compliance and all\n\nlicensing from state and federal entities; and\n\n7.
