The original referendum and subsequent board elections may\n\nprovide exemptions for producers from payment of the assessment if\n\nthe exemptions are included in full written form on the election\n\nballot and are approved by:\n\n1. Two-thirds or more of those voting in the election; or\n\n2. More than one-half of those voting in the election and those\n\nvoting in favor of the proposition produce at least fifty percent\n\n(50%) of the volume of production of the commodity during the\n\nrelevant production period.\n\nB.
