Stat. tit. 2, § 2-5-82","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Agricultural Linked Deposit Program:\n\n1. \"Agricultural domestic corporation\" means any domestic\n\ncorporation formed or licensed pursuant to the Oklahoma General\n\nCorporation Act or a limited domestic liability company formed or\n\nlicensed pursuant to the Oklahoma Limited Liability Company Act and\n\nmeeting the requirements of paragraph 5 of subsection A of Section\n\n955 of Title 18 of the Oklahoma Statutes and meeting the\n\nrequirements of subsection A of Section 951 of Title 18 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes;\n\n2. \"Agricultural linked deposit\" means a certificate of deposit\n\nplaced by the State Treasurer with an eligible lending institution\n\nor an investment in bonds, notes, debentures, or other obligations\n\nor securities issued by the federal farm credit bank with regard to\n\nan eligible lending institution for the purpose of carrying out the\n\nintent of this program;\n\n3. \"Agricultural Linked Deposit Loan Package\" means the forms\n\nprovided by the State Treasurer for the purpose of applying for an\n\nagricultural linked deposit;\n\n4. \"Alternative agricultural products\" means those products\n\nincluded in a report submitted by the Cooperative Extension Service\n\nof Oklahoma State University to the Oklahoma Department of\n\nAgriculture, Food, and Forestry, and any other products which the\n\nState Board of Agriculture determines will diversify Oklahoma's\n\nagricultural industry so as to broaden Oklahoma's economic base, but\n\nalternative agricultural products shall not mean medical marijuana\n\ngrowing operations;\n\n5. \"An at-risk farm or ranch business\" shall be one that seeks\n\na production loan and meets the following criteria:\n\na. at least sixty percent (60%) of gross income derived\n\nfrom farming and/or ranching, and\n\nb. a debt-to-asset ratio over forty percent (40%);\n\n6. \"Eligible agricultural business\" means:\n\na. any person engaged in producing, processing, or\n\nmarketing alternative agricultural products,\n\nb. any person who is establishing a veterinary practice\n\nin which at least thirty percent (30%) of the practice\n\nconsists of services for large animals and the total\n\nloan amount shall not exceed Two Hundred Fifty\n\nThousand Dollars ($250,000.00),\n\nc. an at-risk farm or ranch business operating within the\n\nState of Oklahoma, or\n\nd. a healthy corner store as certified by the Oklahoma\n\nDepartment of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry;\n\n7. \"Eligible lending institution\" means a financial institution\n\nthat agrees to participate in the Oklahoma Agricultural Linked\n\nDeposit Program, and:\n\na. is eligible to be a depository of state funds, or\n\nb. is an institution of the farm credit system organized\n\nunder the federal \"Farm Credit Act of 1971\", 12 U.S.C.\n\n2001, as amended; and\n\n8. \"Healthy corner store\" means a grocery store certified by\n\nthe Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry pursuant\n\nto rules adopted by the State Board of Agriculture that markets\n\nlocally grown fresh fruits and vegetables and nutritious foods and\n\nfor which the sale of beer and tobacco products constitutes less\n\nthan ten percent (10%) of its gross sales excluding gasoline and\n\nother nongrocery products, such other requirements as may be\n\nestablished in rules adopted by the State Board of Agriculture, and\n\nthat is located in a geographical area that is underserved by\n\ngrocery outlets meeting those requirements.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a25ce750a1cad52135518fec88ca024fea34a1a1c774826352c2574d8c0e5783","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-81","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-5-83"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
