The Oklahoma International Trade Development Council shall\n\nhave the power and duty to:\n\n1. Assist and encourage economic prosperity and employment\n\nthroughout this state by promoting the expansion of international\n\nexports of Oklahoma agricultural products and livestock;\n\n2. Cooperate in conjunction with other organizations, public\n\nand private, the objectives of which are the promotion and\n\nadvancement of export trade activities in the state;\n\n3. Make recommendations regarding the establishment of a source\n\nof funding credit guarantees and insurance to support export\n\ndevelopment, particularly to small- and medium-sized businesses; and\n\n4. Advise exporters and other groups regarding barter\n\nagreements between exporters of Oklahoma agricultural, livestock, or\n\nmanufactured goods and groups in other counties and to facilitate\n\ncontributions of Oklahoma agricultural and livestock products to\n\nareas of the world experiencing food shortages.\n\nB. The Oklahoma International Trade Development Council shall\n\nseek advice from the general public, professional associations,\n\nacademic groups and institutions, and individuals with the knowledge\n\nand interest in areas of economic development and planning regarding\n\ninternational export of Oklahoma agricultural products and\n\nlivestock, and agricultural market development.\n\nC. All state agencies shall cooperate with the Oklahoma\n\nInternational Trade Development Council in providing information and\n\nother assistance as requested for the performance of Council duties.\n\nD.
