Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-124","heading":"Livestock infected or exposed - Order of quarantine –","body":"Notice – Waiving of quarantine.\n\nA. Whenever it is determined by the State Board of Agriculture\n\nor the State Veterinarian that livestock in any area of the State of\n\nOklahoma is, has been, or is likely to be infected with an\n\ninfectious or contagious disease, or has been exposed due to\n\nimportation of livestock from another state or from another area in\n\nthe State of Oklahoma, or for any other reason, the President of the\n\nBoard, an authorized agent, or the State Veterinarian shall issue an\n\norder of quarantine showing the area and the conditions of the\n\nquarantine. Notice of the quarantine order shall be given by one of\n\nthe following methods:\n\n1. In person by an authorized agent of the Board; or\n\n2. By certified mail; or\n\n3. By publication in a legal newspaper of general circulation\n\nin one or more counties in which the areas are situated; or\n\n4. By a sign or signs posted in or around the quarantined area.\n\nB. It shall be illegal to remove any sign or notice posted to a\n\nquarantine area or premise and removal shall be only by the State\n\nVeterinarian or an authorized agent.\n\nC.
