Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-150","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this Article:\n\n1. “Approved market” means any livestock market, auction, or\n\nstockyard which operates under the specific approval of the United\n\nStates Department of Agriculture, the Oklahoma Agricultural Code,\n\nand the rules of the Board;\n\n2. \"Approved veterinarian\" means a graduate veterinarian\n\nlicensed and accredited by the state of origin and the United States\n\nDepartment of Agriculture, or an authorized veterinary inspector of\n\nthe United States Department of Agriculture;\n\n3. “Livestock” means any animal or bird to be imported into the\n\nState of Oklahoma for any purpose;\n\n4. \"Official health certificate\" or “certificate of veterinary\n\ninspection” means a legible declaration on an official form from the\n\nstate of origin or from the United States Department of Agriculture,\n\nissued by an approved veterinarian and approved by the chief\n\nlivestock health official of the state of origin;\n\nAn official health certificate or certificate of veterinary\n\ninspection shall contain the name and address of the consignor and\n\nconsignee, age, sex, number, breed of livestock, and sufficient\n\nidentifying marks and/or tags to positively identify the livestock\n\nlisted on the health certificate. The health certificate shall also\n\ncontain a statement by the approved veterinarian that such livestock\n\nare free from evidence of all contagious, infectious, or\n\ncommunicable diseases and do not originate from a district of\n\nquarantine, infestation or infection. A health certificate shall be\n\nvoid thirty (30) days after the date of its issuance. A copy of the\n\nhealth certificate shall be forwarded to the Oklahoma State\n\nVeterinarian, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and\n\n5. “Permit” means written permission by the State Board of\n\nAgriculture to move certain livestock into or within the State of\n\nOklahoma with or without an official health certificate.
