Upon approval by the United States Department of\n\nAgriculture, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and\n\nForestry may establish standards for Oklahoma producers that market\n\nand sell beef and bison in intrastate commerce.\n\nB. The Department is authorized to promulgate rules regarding\n\nslaughter facilities that provide for the following:\n\n1. Establish standards that allow for flexibility in beef and\n\nbison inspection, including, but not limited to, establishing the\n\nnumber of inspectors at a facility and the use of technologies to\n\ndigitally inspect meat;\n\n2. Establish standards for the labeling of beef and bison\n\nproducts sold intrastate;\n\n3. Establish standards for the number of head over which a\n\nfacility shall pay for a state inspector; and\n\n4. Establish any other standards necessary to increase the\n\nability of producers to market and sell beef and bison in intrastate\n\ncommerce.\n\nC.
